Edinboro University is well known for its strong undergraduate programs, including Animation, Computer Science, Game Design and Virtual World Development, Chemistry, Graphic Design, Jewel-metalsmithing, Business, and Psychology.

It also offers strong graduate programs in School Psychology, Education (Middle-High School), Social Work, and Fine Arts.

Honors Programs and Scholarships

The Robert C. Weber Honors Program gives top students access to priority scheduling, a Living-Learning Floor, extended library privileges, scholarships, a mentor program, and special travel opportunities.

Student Life

EU has over 200 student organizations encompassing clubs, honor societies, professional organizations, general student interests, music and theater organizations, and a dynamic Greek Life community. The University provides student activities such as sightseeing and shopping trips, free movies, bowling at Presque Isle, concerts and comedians, notable guest speakers, and relaxing activities in the University Center.

Students live in double or suite-style rooms. Living-Learning Communities, social events, and community service opportunities are all available.


Campus Services

The International Student Services Office assists international students with immigration matters, academic and personal support, orientation, and acclimation to the USA and university life. International student orientation begins early and then joins the domestic student orientation. International students play a special role in all graduation and commencement ceremonies.

EU offers multicultural programming, a Rosetta Stone language learning lab, and a Career Development Center to prepare students for their careers. All freshmen participate in EU’s First Year Experience Program.



Edinboro University’s campus has 42 buildings on a 585-acre campus which includes a 5-acre pond, open fields and woods. It is located in a friendly, safe traditional American college town, where the local population along with the university community creates a warm and welcome living and studying environment for students.

The campus is home to 400 disabled students. Edinboro University students learn how to work alongside people with disabilities.
